Well, just as I thought; someone has noticed that there is a NEW fast cw sig on the bands and I'm excited you followed me here Jon. I was not offended when you asked me to QRS this morning when I was cranking along at 50wpm. Your sig had a little bit of Artic Flutter to it on 20 but solid copy.

Do me a favor, download the latest RufzXP software and play around a little. This site here is also a great site to have fun with.

I'm getting warmed up on the bands for the WPX CW test this weekend; try to work me.

Take care,

Jon,

Welp, I lasted an hour in the test and I was having a good first hour run. I had put 152 q's in my log and then an incoming phone call.

It was my son asking me if I could come to his baseball game because a Seattle Mariner's Scout was going to be at the game to watch him. What was I to say "NO". Since I have been so busy lately and haven't had much time to spend with the family; I made the decision to stop the contest and spend time with my boy. After all, he leaves for college next year so my days are numbered where I get to spend some quality time with him.

I wanted to mention that I generally like being around when the Scouts are talking to my son because the next step they take is wanting to meet me. The reason I found out that they do this is; they want to see how "fit" the dad is and see my height and weight so that they can project my son and look down the road.

They also can tell a lot about the work ethic of the dad and hopefully the dad has instilled in the son. That's why I generally stay fit and like to run. Lately with back problems I have replaced running with walking now to get my excercise.

I did happen to work Mats on 20 during a JA run. I think he just bought a FT-1000MP.

Anyway, I hope you had some time to download RufzXP and make a few runs on this site too.

73,

Craig, AH8DX
