I feel restricted in plaintext training, because in my language FR, it’s only been 127 proverbs.

Can i purpose some new proberbs in my language (FR) for plaintext training ?

And what format should we follow to make integration easier ?

I would be happy to add more French sentences/proverbs etc. Just send me a file (preferred plain text but anything else will also work) by email (fabian@fkurz.net).

Hi Gaetan,

please keep all accents in the text; there is always the possibility for the user to remove them. Encoding of the text file can be anything "common" (UTF-8, Latin1).

I would also like to submit new English proverbs. Is there a way to check for duplicates with the existing list? Alternatively, could we create a new database for public domain English Bible verses? I would be happy to make a text file for that.

I didn’t ask for the list of French proverbs. To make sure I didn’t have any duplicates, I practised as many times as necessary until I’d copied them all into a file.
I did so many that I memorised them, and I hardly needed that file at all to make my selection. HI
It’s true that there are already far more in English. I’d advise you to email Fabian to ask if he can provide you with the database.

As for the Bible verses, only Fabian will be able to answer that; you’ll need to ask him directly.
However, my view is that anything relating to religion doesn’t really belong here, just as is the case in QSO between radio amateurs on the air.

For my part, I have excluded all proverbs that refer too heavily to religion, those containing vulgar language, and those that could be problematic in terms of feminism, amongst other things.
