I think it would be very helpful to have a countdown timer (3 .. 2 .. 1 .. ) with a beep at each second - which would prime my bluetooth headset to re-establish the audio connection before the characters start. Thoughts? |

When I did something else/freshly switch to the browsertab with LCWO and click the "play" button, the first characters are not output. As countermeasure, before starting the normal 60sec word training, I click on one of the most recent letters. That plays that letter, also first few instances are not output, but after that the output is as expected. I have 5sec "delay/countdown before the actual lesson starts" configured. I think, as countermeasure LCWO could right after I clicked the "play" button output something - not necessarily loud - and that should then lead to also have the first dits/dahs of the lesson directly audible for me. 73 de Chris |

It would give learners a moment to get ready before each lesson starts instead of being caught off guard. Since I practice Morse code occasionally, I've found that having a brief pause before listening exercises helps me focus better. Small improvements like this can make learning feel much smoother https://morsecodetranslatr.com/
