The aim after all is to get on the air and you will need to send to do that.
Practicing sending has helped my copying skills too.
BTW I use a paddle and a keyer. That way at least inter element spacing is taken care of, leaving me to concentrate on inter character and inter word spacing.

Posted: 2025-06-04 09:49 | Peter, the problem is that there are literally no online methods that teach sending, and you can see that by the amount of terrible code heard on air.
Back in the day, there were radio clubs with experienced hams teaching you code. Radio clubs nowadays are just money making machines.
