Hello,

I am traveling to Africa very soon. I would like to continue my CW practice, but the ability to be connected online is an impossibility. My method of practice is with an iPad and an attached keyboard. There are many CW apps, but they require pen and paper, which is not my method. Does an app exist that will allow for copy practice using a keyboard for entry, functioning similarly to LCWO...which is perfect! Thank you.

Tip:
Always mention your operating systen iOS or Android.
I should make MP3 files in advance, can be done on this website, type them out during exercising off line on your keyboard, and compare thedisplayed text with the text you made the mp3 from.

@cb
The last link of the mountsaintopper says:
"we are providing the original manual so that you can see all schematics and assembly instructions for your own support or modification."

However I only can find a 6 page user manual, no schematics?

Thank you everyone for your input, whether it was related to my question or not. Unfortunately, the great ideas offered are not useful for an iPad, with is the operating system I use IOS - “My method of practice is with an iPad and an attached keyboard.” Anyone have other ideas? I know that I could download MP3, etc. My question was whether there was a similar app that didn’t require internet, that could be used on IOS. Thank you.

I don't think so . . . not here anyway.

I get heavily "moderated" over my product reviews on certain famous commercial sites
and
one or two company's own forums.

Hmmmm

I think morse (and maybe semaphore ) can be invaluable in emergencies . .

. . I expect ham radio still has a part to play in free thought and anti dictatorship activities . . .

but I also expect that fake news propaganda and rumour management will win in the end - despite "moderation" and "fact checks" maybe working against it . .

We'll see what AI has to say for itself when it gets going. I bet it won't want to pay its taxes anyway . . . but how do you explain the oxymoronic "smart bomb" . . .

You weren't one of those reviewers of a hair removal product and/or certain gummy sweet were you??

but how do you explain the oxymoronic "smart bomb" . .

Just "moronic" would do it.
