Using word training 20 wpm the sound is fine but when the wpm go up to mid 20's and up the first CW letter gets clipped and I end up compensating by guessing.... not good.

Are there any settings I am missing or are others noticing this as well?

I’ve noticed similar behavior at faster CW speeds. It may be worth checking the browser audio settings and any latency or buffering in the training app. Losing the first character would definitely make copying harder.
