Please don't assume that everything must be about immediate progress. Some things are simply for accumulation. Think of it like this: if a man eats three bowls of rice to get full and then says, 'I should have skipped the first two and just eaten the third,' isn't that ridiculous? We cannot give all the credit to the final bowl. You might just be eating the second bowl right now. Keep going, and please don't doubt yourself.
