Postet: 2025-04-25 03:38 | After a short period of practice I get an extra tone (dit)on top of each character. I think I'm losing my mind. I videoed what was happening just to confirm it wasn't in my head. The last time I posted this. I got no help. Could I have an odd audio setting on my computer. This is really getting in the way. Anybody help? This happens half way through Morse Machine and carries over to lessons.

did you try a different browser?
Do you notice the extra "dit" also if you save and playback an mp3 file?
I've had times when I felt the rendering of the tones while at lcwo was marginally blurred while at other times it was perfectly clear. Same as you I wondered it it was me, but I did not pursue this further as it did not happen often enough to become annoying, next day or at a later time it would be OK.

Postet: 2025-04-26 22:56 | No BT or Wireless Headphones. I've changed Browser same result. Changed to three different computers. Come book, MAC and Microsoft machine...same result....
I've change settings BUT I was listening at 600hz....Changed this to 750 hz and the tone is gone.
My ears????? We'll see. I'm practicing at 750.

I wonder if you tried changing the headphone as well? I wonder if this is some kind of resonance effect on the HP that vanishes when changing the tone pitch.
