Thanks for all of your work. ebook2cw is one of my
favorite software tools to learn and work with cw.
Look forward to trying the ogg format, and other new options.

Also an updated version of the GUI for ebook2cw (separate program) is available now, supporting the new parameters:

http://fkurz.net/ham/ebook2cw.html#gui

And (what a productive rainy day!) a new version of my high speed training program "qrq" has been released:

http://fkurz.net/ham/qrq.html

Tomorrow the normal work life starts again, so I won't be as productive any more as I have been lately :-)

I tried to compile qrq 0.3.1 on Windows with MinGW. Make complains: "make: *** No rule to make target `qrq.res'"

qrq.res is not part of the qrq 03.1 files.

But it's in the Makefile OBJECTS list (only) for USE_WIN32=YES. However I don't see a rule in Makefile to create it?

Not important in any way, just wanted to mention and wondering what I am doing wrong
..
Wanted to play around with the qrq code..

Hello Gerd,

sorry, I forgot to include it in the distribution package but you'll find it in SVN:
http://dl0tud.tu-dresden.de/cgi-bin/viewvc.cgi/qrq/trunk/?root=yfk or directly here http://fkurz.net/ham/qrq/qrq.res.

Furthermore, let me quote SP8QED (who came up with the Windows patches):

sp8qed:
Building under MinGW requires to compile pdcurses and pthread-win32
under this environment and place resulting .a files in main qrq
directory with header files. However, I cannot (really do not know why)
link against statically compiled pthreads, it results with some
unresolved symbols. Dynamic version links against .a, but requires a DLL
which is included. PDCurses is linked inside exe without a DLL.

If needed, let me know and I'll provide a copy of my working/compiling directory :)

Hallo Fabian,

Trouble with pthreads now (qrq compiles with warnings but crashes when running qrq.exe).

Would happily accept a copy of the working dir for MinGW - but only if no effort for you

If this is any effort for you pse don't waste any time - will set up a Linux for playing with compiling
