1) Set code groups with figures only and cut numbers (0..9). Excercise code groups
2) Then set mixed characters code training, do not change the 0..9 in the same line, exercise.
3) After verifying the code group I find that wherever lcwo gave for example "2" as sound, it expects me to enter "U" (cut number).Although I correctly entered a "2" lcwo considers this a mistake - see below.

That's a bug and I just fixed it. Number abbreviations now only affect the figure groups, not mixed.

There's something odd going on if you try selecting ' (single-quote) in the "Change CW Settings" page, too...

Indeed. Another side-effect of the change of PHP version and different default handling of quotes etc.
