Right now I'm handcoding (writing out letters by hand, then typing in the box to check results) Should I try to use the keyboard instead, or will that make me keyboard dependent?

Hi Mason,

nothing wrong with using the keyboard directly. I personally cannot keep up with hand writing much over 25wpm or so, while I can comfortably type 40wpm without getting tired.

On the long run, after you mastered all the lessons and learned the characters, you'll eventually move on to head-copy, and not be dependent on any writing/typing anymore.

Right now .... Should I try

I'd say use which ever method you're naturally quicker at, because it'll get frustrating sooner if you use the slower method...

Nothing changed on the site lately regarding the audio. Maybe some trivial problem, volume turned down to zero? Do you see the player as shown below (or similar), and does it do anything (i.e. count the seconds etc.)?

Well spotted, but it's there on purpose (and for some time already), because the condition is not needed anymore :-)

What is the exact Firefox version? 3.16 doesn't exist, maybe 3.6.16? Is Flash installed? You can find out e.g. by typing "about:plugins" in the address bar, or checking at http://www.playerversion.com/

Is that a home made version of Firefox that you are using Jack?

Go to Change CW settings, there you can chose with a radio button out of 5 possibilities for sound playing. Try all 5, don't forget to click on "submit" in the language you use, and report here what happens.
