So anyway, I noticed a ham that has worked his way up the Rufz Toplist that lives in a city nearby me that I conduct business in each week. I also noticed that he may have attended an HST Championship or HST Event someplace but I can't recall where.

I looked up his call on qrz.com and sent him a qsl card asking if he was going to Poland in October for the HST Championships since I was looking for someone to travel with and we could possibly depart from the same city. I thought it would be nice to travel with someone with the same interest and share ideas. It would make the trip so much fun.

That was 2 months ago, NOTHING. I check my mailbox every day awaiting his reply just as I did when I was a kid awaiting my first ham license.

I find it awfully strange! What is everyone so worried about?

Oh I get it now, they are worried that if they give anyone any Rufz tips and their ranking would be in jeapordy.

I have short term goals and long term goals and you guested it, I have set my sights on some guys a ways above me and will pass them up some day all on my own.
