I am trying to learn to copy by hand rather than by typing. Is there a setting to reveal what was sent so that the copy can be checked without having typed it?

You could to the sequence of a) copy by hand, b) typing that in, c) seeing what was sent.

Without entering anything in the textbox, you can just click "Check Result" twice and you will be shown what was sent.


After the first click you will see this warning:

Warning: The number of groups sent was different from the text which you entered. [...]
After editing your text, just press the submit button again.

Then just click the button again. Of course you will get a result of 100% errors, but you can see what was sent nonetheless.

Copy by hand with a pencil is the best way to learn, because having a type writer (mill) at hand is not obvious in emergency circumstances.
When your proficiency grows, you will be able to cpy just by listening.
