Hi all. Firstly, could I give gratitude for this amazing site - it is my goto trainer (CWOPS Fundamental).

There is one part that really does cause some friction in the learning process though.

Why are the custom characters in 'Change CW Settings' not in alphabetic order?

I regularly swap and change my characters to drill the ones I'm weak on and it really breaks my flow having to hunt them out from the swarm of seemingly random characters (I assume it's koch order).

Could we have them reorganised alphabetically, or is there a reason I'm missing?

The given letter order is the "Koch" method of learning morse code letters. I learned it the Howard W. Sams??? method of ZL1AN = Gary E.J. Bold (SK) way. Lesser used characters first. But there are more letter order possibility's See:

Of course an alphabetic layout would be easier to change your preference. Or not, when you use the Koch sequence.
