Hello, I am new to this forum.

I was pleased to find your "/transmit" page because I am new to amateur radio in general and specifically to learning morse.

I hacked a cabled USB mouse, wiring a 3.5mm mono jack socket to the left-click microswitch on its interior circuit board. I connected a straight key (a WT8AMP No.2) which works well for me as a complete novice.

I need to practice a whole lot more!

Thank you for making this site available. It works well on my Chromebook.

Hoi Peter,

I did the same a while ago, works well indeed - and independent of the operating system.
Although it's not rocket science, I captured the details here:
