I've had several stabs at this and given up but this time seems different. It's hard, probably the hardest thing I've ever done. I can see improvement and some correlation between practice/effort and results, which is motivating.

Also, typing X for undecided characters and moving on is an enormoushelp.

On the air this year. If you hear horrible Morse around Christmas, that'll be me.

Enormous space help. Don't know how to edit posts....

Sending is much easier than receiving. Get on the air as soon as you can send your callsign correctly and you may send perfect morse code by Christmas.

I haven't done any sending yet, although I understand it's good to do at some time a learning to receive [Art of CW].
Problem is I don't have the kit - I do have a key,and a transceiver (elderly SGC2020) but no way to connect key to phone/tablet/computer.

If you want to connect your key to your computer, you can get a ham solutions band adapter. But if you've got a transceiver then isn't that enough to get sending on air?

Way too soon to impose my CW on the world.
I now have a 5GBP sacrificial mouse. I am going to connect the left button to my key and try the sending feature on this site.
