Posted: 2022-10-18 17:40 | Due to some user feedback I reworked the names of a number of options for more uniformity and hopefully easier to remember for new users.
mcpt -help still displays all of them so it should not be painful even to existing users.
UserGuide should be in sync, as well as demo files etc. (feedback appreciated).
One new option which was added for users of Precision CW Tutor by DJ7HS, is -phrase=.
Most apps will not even see this change if used.
Simply, any output (words, code groups, callSigns, etc.) will group of items on a line, instead of a continus stream.
Ex: without -phrase

with -phrase=2:
this test
word code
practice fun
Most app simply treat the newline the same as a space. HOWEVER, the Tutor app using its new "phrase" feature, will keep these items in order, and on a line basis. This allows for retaining context, like parts of a qso, or a meaningful sentence. Also using tutor's SINGLE WORD MODE;
the phrase will be sent and then the app pauses until an ENTER or BACKSPACE giving the user some
head time to decode that chunk, or send it from memory on the Fistcheck app,etc.
