Posted: 2022-05-18 22:42 | I use custom characters in "Change CW settings", and does enable Ä, as I want Æ that both are .-.-
I have no Ä on my keyboard so I want to type the danish Æ instead.
That is not accepted.
Anyone knows an easy way around?
Same goes for Ø = ---. and Å = .--.-

there's already a Danish character set selectable for the Morse Machine, but custom characters are currently limited... however there is no longer a technical reason for that. It used to be limited because the site was running on the old ISO 8859-1 (aka Latin1) encoding which didn't contain a lot of accented characters, but nowadays it's all UTF-8 so I guess I could just extend the possible letters for the custom characters.
I'll look into this on the next weekend!

Sounds great
I only uses custom characters as in order to learn subsets (where I have problems), and also to learn in another sequence than yours Lessons xx/40
Looking forward

I added Æ, Ø and Å and while I was at it, I also added Cyrillic and Arabic characters to custom characters, for those who are up for a challenge :-)
