Thread: Prosign characters?

Some prosign characters are actually punctuation such as:

+ AR
( KN

and lwco.net translates them as expected.

Wikipedia shows & for AS (wait) but the site translates & to ES which makes some sense as ES is an abbreviation for the word AND.

What characters can I use to create the various prosigns such as SK, KN, and AS when using the Convert text to CW feature?

Perhaps a module on prosign training wouldn't hurt as well.

Hi Nate,

arbitrary prosigns can be created in the text2cw feature by enclosing letters in angle brackets, as in <SK> or <AR>.

Ahh, thanks much, Fabian. Perhaps a note the text conversion page would be helpful.

Anyway of adding a similar functionality to add prosigns, specifically SK, to the Code Group practice setup page, lcwo.net/cwsettings ?

Thank you for the wonderful resource you have provided.

I second that. I'd like to see prosigns in the lessons, too.
