I'm hell bent on learning CW! I won't be happy until I'm at 20wpm and greater. I'm at about 90% @ 12wpm. Practice, practice, practice, I'm getting there! I'm 69 years old but that isn't going to stop me! I can't wait to get a rig and get on the air! I plan on doing POTA and SOTA QRP. CW of course.

Good for you Larry! What rig are you thinking of going with? My wife and are interested in the same activities. We are planning on getting an Elecraft KX2 as a reward for passing our exams and learning Morse Code. We are hikers.

I plan on getting a Yaesu FTDX 10. It will do more of course but I will only run 5 watts. I know it's a little elaborate but I'm 69 with a bad back. I wish I could hike.
