Currently the system has 2 tone options 600hz if random.

As I see it the issue is random creates pratice sessions where the tone changes from letter to letter. While this can happen in band properdation moments. A more useful option for beginners would be one that allows each practice to randomly choose a tone and stick to it.

This would be a closer match of the difference in sent tone they will find when scanning the diaql for different cw sessions to listen for.

Would it be possible to add this as an option in the future.

I Will also add. Changes of tone within the same practice would be more realistic if the new tone moved relative to the previous tone. so we hear a increase of decrease in tone frequency undulating through a practice session. Rather then totally random tones one after another.

Thank you for any consideration and the fantastic site so far.

It is possible, BUT
failure rate of this course is vy high, kind of degeneration of civilisations, that seems to happen when life gets too easy and everything is for sale, produced by the next maturing civilisation.
The first step to prevent quitting :do it at ONE tone, 600 Hz is perfect.
when you think you have no progress :
1. start each and every day with Morse Machine before doing your Koch lesson. When no progress with 20/10 switch back to 20/5,
2/ When you reach lesson 9 start also with Words,
restricted to lesson 9 ans short words to start with.
