Posted: 2019-12-02 10:01 | Congrats, Bruce.
Did you receive, send or both?
How many minutes of copying did you?
What was the character speed, and what was the effective speed?
What is your progress from week to week? (Or moth to month?)

Copying is a few minutes at a time, several times a day. Somedays I have 2 or none practices but some days 4 or 5.
Generally, I work with about 5 lines of ten characters, or more. Each line is sort of like:
e q m v p / c s o f se 3 .
b c ? u h l q f 7 c a J .
r h 3 q 9 u y / m 0 q b .
, j b c v q 7 p c 4 a z .
------
Month to month has been a gradual progression from 3 WPM to 5 PM (without distinguishing between "character" and "effective") Now I have progressed to using 8 Character and 6 Effective. My aim is to work with my lessons played on LCWO.Net in the Convert to Text feature, and recycle through the beginning lessons at 9.
Not sure about speeding up "effective" speed because I need to write all that I copy. I copy it all by hand in a spiral notebook and keep a permanent record of each and every lesson.
