I think * should be included in the options for custom groups for a true SK pro-sign sound.

Being quite new to both CW and to amateur radio, it appears that all the pro-signs but for "BT" are missing. And that "BT" appears only because it is the same pattern are "=".

If this is true, then would suggest that "AR", "KN", "SK" be added to the lessons in order to prepare us for recognizing these when operating on the air.

J.M. How about Wait a moment didahdididit and Understood didididahdit

Above the character = also + amd ? are equivalent to prosigns.

When you want to exercise them ebook2CW, written by dj1yfk is one of the possibilities.

Thank you. ebook2CW, ah! Written by the same gentleman as LCWO.net! Very nice. Gives a whole new aspect to the concept of "books on tape".

These are the keyboard symbols for pro signs;
= BT
+ AR
( KN
* SK
. , ? / are not really prosigns

IMI equivalent with the question mark is a prosign.

See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prosigns_for_Morse_code#Prosign_symbol_representations

When you sent the "location is Mississippi River ? Mississippi River" The resulting telegram text handed over to the recipient and paid for by words is
"location is Mississippi River"

Hence vectored IMI is a procedure sign, eith the meaning : 'I repeat'

Never heard of * is SK, before ur posting.
When I try on this website on "convert text to CW" it does not give nay sound. So DJ1YFK agrees.

OK when you define "not any sound" to SK it is right
