Are there any operators here who do QTC training?
I tried it once now, but it is difficult to keep up.
Ofcourse i could lower the speed, but what do you all recommend as speed to start with QTC training ?

Hi,

I used the default speed at 20WPM and I can just copy fine error free. But in WAE CW contest most guys run QTCs at least at around 28-30 WPM....no chance for me to copy that. Need much more training, hi hi

Hi Oscar,

I think that most of the QTC contester are very experienced in cw, or they use a decoder.
I tried once the default speed of 20wpm, but after a few signs i couldn't keep up :)

Hi Leon,

Start your QTC training a speed where you can comfortably copy 1) Groups of figures and 2) Callsigns. Do your QTC training at the slowest of these two speeds and then slowly build up.

I find it helps a lot with numbers as well as callsigns, good for practice, I have used it about 280 times now I see by my stats! 73 Rich G4FAD..
