I would really like to see an option for special characters ( "-", "/" etc.) in code group practice.

All the special characters are used when you chose "mixed". The name is probably a bit misleading, after "letters" and "figures", you'd expect "mixed" to be just letters and figures.

If there is interest, it would also be possible to modify the site to generate practice texts with a custom character set.
