Posted: 2009-01-14 19:13 | Admittedly I just found this site and just started looking around.
But I am not always able to go online and was wondering if this or another program is available for off line work. Found the mp3 files for download but like the idea of using a keyboard instead of pencil and paper. Bill |

LCWO itself is not available as an offline-version, simply because 90% of the work is done on the server side, which makes it so easy to use from anywhere with an internet connection, (almost) regardless of the browser or operating system used. There are plenty of code practice programs for Windows, like G4FON (http://www.g4fon.net/) or http://JustLearnMorseCode.com/(both using the Koch-Method), and for advanced training, programs like RufzXP (http://rufzxp.net/), MorseRunner (http://www.dxatlas.com/MorseRunner/) or CW Freak (http://ji0vwl.com/cw_freak_e.html) can be recommended. I was not aware of any available CW software but then I never looked, your site is enough for me. (Many thanks by the way.) I was thinking that it might make sense to add a Links page to your site for those who might be interested. Another Bill |

Thanks. This is a terrific site and resource. |
