Posted: 2012-01-12 20:01 | all new posts? What prompted the change? I am mostly new here, but this seems like it may increase the workload for you.
Is it possible that just 1st(maybe even first 5) posts of new users needs approval? |

Posted: 2012-01-12 20:08 | Hi Daniel,
The level of trolling exceeded every acceptable treshold here lately. Maybe my workload will increase slightly, but I am quite confident that it's the right way to do at the moment. Users who are using this site in a way that conforms with with netiquette and ham spirit (99.9%) will be auto-approved after a few posts. 73 Fabian |

Thanx for your help and housekeeping this evening. :) 73, Alex |

Posted: 2012-01-13 02:43 | Since some of my posts are now gone, I guess I'm considered a troll. I don't think I was being trollish one little bit. In fact you deleted what I felt was a well written response about what ham radio enthusiasts do to somebody that asked a question out of curiosity. Anyways it's your site and you can allow whatever you wish to be posted in your forums more power to you sir.
I guess I'll just use the practice tools then if that's alright with you. 73 de paul |

Posted: 2012-01-13 08:16 | Hi Paul,
some of the posts in the Thread "Why are you learning Morse/CW?" are the victim of my clumsiness; I had to restore the forum to a backup of Monday. I still have those posts but the date/time information is missing. I may restore them as good as possible when I find the time, but since most of that thread was trolling etc., this is not really the top priority at the moment. :) 73 Fabian |
