Hi, Fabian,

congrats for your LCWO site and ebook2cw. On my Windows XP machine ebook2cw doesn't read the conf file. Have you any guess what I made wrong?

On Windows, all files need to be in the same directory: ebook2cw.exe, ebook2cw.conf and (if used) ebook2cwgui.exe. Otherwise the config file won't be read.

On startup, the program should print a message like
Reading configuration file: ebook2cw.conf.

I don't have a Windows computer near me at this moment, but I tested the Windows version with Wine under Linux and it worked, if all files are in the same directory.

hw?

Thanks for the hints, Fabian.
After copying the conf file back and forth I scrambled the coding to UTF-8, but if it's ANSI coded then the prog reads it without problem.
