Posted: 2010-07-07 06:54 | I'm a radio operator by trade, and im learning CW as a hobby and to increase my skill set, (we are no longer required to do it in the army these days)
outside of the army, what job prospects are there for radio operators? |

It is also usefull in mining accidents and submarine vessels in case of emergency. You don't have to invent your own alfabet. And you can blow a "vuvuzela" in order to give secret advice to your favorite sportsmen.

Posted: 2010-07-12 00:52 | Bout the only thing close to "operator" is dispatcher for the private sector or public sector (police, fire, etc).
