I must apologize for not following thread protocol this week which is to keep (ON TOPIC).

Lesson learned: if someone tries to challenge you on a subject other than what is being talked about on that particular thread, it is best to ask the challenger if he/she would start a new thread for you to answer the questions being asked if it is (OFF TOPIC).

By doing this, it keeps threads from going (awry).

I don't mind heated discussions here on the forums; they can sometimes be very "fruitful". But no matter how much one's opinion differs from someone else's, it's always important to stay civil and be respectful to each other.

There's nothing I'd hate more than to turn this forum into a moderated one, and I think it won't be neccessary to take this step.

Let's not forget that we are all here because of our common interest in Morse code. Some may take it more seriously than others, but we're all just amateurs. Nobody is perfect.
