Tallennettu: 2008-08-25 20:44 | This is more of a question about learning code, not about lcwo.net. lcwo is an excellent program.
It seems that my copy does relatively well, but once I miss a character or two, I get really confused and have a hard time getting "caught up." Obviously I need to just drop the characters and regroup, but this is seemingly harder than I thought possible. (Nevermind the scoring problem that requires you to at least enter something to signify a group.) Any pointers? |

Try to care less about the occasional wrong character copied but stay "in the rythm". Rather than giving up when mistaken train (force) yourself to continue. The number of mistakes may often be inferior to what you expect. Good luck |

Tallennettu: 2008-08-26 12:54 | I can second that. It's difficult not to care, but you mentally just have to skip the errors and continue with the text.
With a lot of practice you'll find that you're building up a little buffer in your head and that you write behind a few characters which makes it possible to do some corrections in case you have made an error (in typing, that is). But even the guys who have practiced copying code groups all their life basically have the same problems as you :) 73, Fabian |
