Some words seem much easier than others due to rhythm etc


I think a list of easier words for an mp3 file would be helpful to some of the people who are struggling a little . . .

"beautiful" is indeed a real fist-twister!

I like "best" because of its percussive rhythm. I read somewhere that WWII bomber groups used to use "essenbest" to test their radios . (The disadvantage being the Germans knew an attack was brewing from all the essenbests coming over the airwaves!)

I read an article that long ago people could tell who was sending Morse code. That is their "personality" seemed to come through when they were typing out CW. I'm wondering if the electronic keyers have made everyone sound generic since they "clean up" your CW.

I think we are in a position to reassure you that despite the introduction of electronic aids, there is still plenty of scope for messing up . . .
