2. When type the character "-" into Convert Text to CW, I get
-....- (four dits). I think "-" should be -...- (three dits).
3. Am I right, or just hallucinating again?

thanks for your comments.

I learned "=" as -...- and "-" as -....-; not sure how common the latter really is, indeed, I have rarely ever heard it used on the air. So if you want a "-...-", just use a "=" in the converter.

Ah! I think of the BK character in my head as "-". However, I actually have been using "=" when doing the lessons. I was half brain dead when I submitted the questions :)
